小編： 68Section4是IELTS聽(tīng)力考試中最難的一個(gè)部分。在我看來(lái)，這與Section4的?？荚?huà)題和出題方式有著密切的關(guān)聯(lián)。
在這部分考試中，考生會(huì)聽(tīng)到一長(zhǎng)獨(dú)白，通常是由一名大學(xué)教授或是專(zhuān)家給出的一個(gè)講座，講座的內(nèi)容比較廣泛，會(huì)涉及環(huán)境、文化健康等一系列比較專(zhuān)業(yè)的問(wèn)題。在語(yǔ)言和句型的使用上，也會(huì)出現(xiàn)一些考生不太熟悉的文法，這些都在一定程度上會(huì)造成考生理解上的障礙。但是，雖然話(huà)題比較專(zhuān)業(yè)，所問(wèn)的問(wèn)題都不涉及專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)，也不考察考生的專(zhuān)業(yè)詞匯。所以該部分的目的不是考驗(yàn)?zāi)闶欠裾莆漳硞€(gè)專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)，而是測(cè)試你的聽(tīng)力理解能力以及對(duì)細(xì)節(jié)信息的把握。
NO.1 Section4的題型及應(yīng)試技巧
縱觀2004年至今的考題，Section4的大部分考題都是以填空題為主，有時(shí)為Summary填空，有時(shí)為填表題，所以對(duì)寫(xiě)的要求很高。因此，考生要做的第一步準(zhǔn)備工作就是提高單詞拼寫(xiě)的速度和準(zhǔn)確性。尤其要重視對(duì)以前考試中?？荚嚲暗膱?chǎng)景詞匯的總結(jié)。多年的雅思教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)以及研究結(jié)果告訴我們，場(chǎng)景詞匯反復(fù)出現(xiàn)的比率很大。
大多數(shù)考生在完成這一部分的時(shí)候覺(jué)得時(shí)間很緊，因此我們建議考生在一拿到試卷的時(shí)候就注意聽(tīng)力考試的時(shí)間利用。尤其在Section1做題之前，幾乎有2分鐘的時(shí)間審題，這段時(shí)間里，學(xué)生除了可以把Section1的題目做詳細(xì)的審題外，建議把后三個(gè)Section的場(chǎng)景和題型也瀏覽一遍。
在Section3結(jié)束后到Section4做題之前，會(huì)有近1分鐘的時(shí)間可以預(yù)覽題目。首先要看的就是考題指示中的字?jǐn)?shù)限制，一般是no more than three words，但是有時(shí)也會(huì)是no more than two words,甚至是only one word，一定要看清再作答，否則即使答案的內(nèi)容正確，字?jǐn)?shù)超標(biāo)也不給分的。然后，要快速預(yù)覽試題，找出題目中的關(guān)鍵字，根據(jù)自己的語(yǔ)法知識(shí)確定答案的詞性，同時(shí)，根據(jù)常識(shí)判斷答案可能包含的大致內(nèi)容。另外，如果碰到table題，可以依照順序原則，根據(jù)題號(hào)出現(xiàn)的順序來(lái)判斷試題是按照橫向還是縱向發(fā)展的，并且按照表格中已有的信息來(lái)判斷空格的格式和內(nèi)容，如可以判斷數(shù)字、時(shí)間、金額和大小寫(xiě)信息。想在半分鐘的時(shí)間內(nèi)把試題都預(yù)測(cè)完，就一定要加快預(yù)覽的速度，這可以通過(guò)一些快速閱讀的練習(xí)來(lái)完成。
在聽(tīng)音的過(guò)程中，考生要注意掌握試題的節(jié)奏，通過(guò)聽(tīng)一些表示前后銜接的提示詞來(lái)把握原文的脈絡(luò)，這些提示詞包括：And, also, too, not only…but also… (并列關(guān)系)；then, in addition, moreover, furthermore(遞進(jìn)關(guān)系)；however, but, while, whereas（轉(zhuǎn)折關(guān)系）。另外在聽(tīng)題目的過(guò)程中，要注意對(duì)聽(tīng)到的詞和題干中的字做同義聯(lián)想，不要期望看到的和聽(tīng)到的字是一樣的。在完成試題后，一定要檢查單詞的拼寫(xiě)、時(shí)態(tài)和單復(fù)數(shù)。
NO.2 Section4的常見(jiàn)話(huà)題
一般來(lái)講，在該部分出現(xiàn)的話(huà)題范圍比較廣，有教育、文化、商業(yè)、環(huán)境、犯罪、健康、生物等各個(gè)方面的。
例如2005年的聽(tīng)力考試，這一部分的話(huà)題集中在：文化、生物、環(huán)境以及健康四個(gè)話(huà)題。
又如在今年9月17日的考試中就考到了關(guān)于海洋生物的研究，雖然話(huà)題比較晦澀難懂，但是考點(diǎn)卻是比較簡(jiǎn)單的。所讓考生填的單詞都不是專(zhuān)有名詞，而且有詞庫(kù)可以作為選擇。
再如，在2月26日的考試中，Section4關(guān)注了男性健康的問(wèn)題，提到世界范圍內(nèi)男性壽命比女性短，都分析了男性要延長(zhǎng)壽命應(yīng)該采取的措施，里面考察了life expectancy（預(yù)期壽命）,back pain（腰疼）等場(chǎng)景詞匯的理解，并考察了Antibiotics（抗生素）的拼寫(xiě)。
此外，在8月20日的Section4中考的是健康方面的recreation therapy，雖然是醫(yī)療方面的話(huà)題，但是并沒(méi)有涉及專(zhuān)業(yè)的知識(shí)，要求學(xué)生理解的也是比較基本和常見(jiàn)的單詞如recreation therapy, community等。
綜上，考生針對(duì)這一部分的準(zhǔn)備可以集中在以下幾點(diǎn)：常見(jiàn)場(chǎng)景及相應(yīng)單詞的熟悉，通過(guò)對(duì)連接詞的把握來(lái)把握文章的節(jié)奏，并且熟悉題型以及技巧。
